BLS for Health-Care Provider (CPR)

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health-care Providers is designed to teach a variety of health-care professionals how to recognize a number of life-threatening emergencies, how to provide CPR, how to use an AED and how to relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.  This course is for health-care professionals who must know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a range of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.   • Critical concepts of high-quality CPR
  • The Chain of Survival
  • One-rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant
  • Two-rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant
  • Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques
  • Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant
  • Rescue breathing for adult, child and infant
  • Relief of choking for adult, child and infant
  • CPR with an advanced airway
Heart and Stroke student manual included in full course only.  Can be purchased as an additional cost with the renewal course.
